07-Ghost Melody of Michael Cover
07-GHOST Melody of Michael
{Release Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2009}
Nakagawa Kotaro has returned to display his amazing musical prowess with 07-Ghost’s original soundtrack “Melody of Michael”! If you’re not familiar with him, he was the one who brought about the original soundtracks for series like Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, Hayate no Gotoku, and Zoids Genesis.

『Disc One』
1. Teito Klein [テイト=クライン]
Comments: The OST opens with a bang! This track is titled “Teito Klein” and rightfully so. Throughout the song, it is both calm and urgent, which – more or less – describes Teito’s mentality throughout the anime. The choice of beat is both compelling and satisfying, yielding the results of a highly recommended song to be put on an endless loop in your music player. It has just the right amount of a majestic feel to it without being outrageous and the melody is just splendid.
Score: 10/10
2. Reminiscence (Piano Version) [追憶(Piano ver.)]
Comments: The balance of piano and instrumentals in this song is both powerful and just right. This song is, basically, a less urgent and more calm version of track one – Teito Klein. The piano version really accentuates the melody and the tempo is slowed just a bit to give a more serene feeling to it.
Score: 10/10
3. Reminiscence (Trombone Version) [追憶(Trombone ver.)]
Comments: This is another variation of the first track in disc one. It borrows from the piano version, but adds the trombone into it. It is slowed down to the same tempo as the piano version and it too accentuates a sense of calmness as opposed to urgency.
Score: 10/10
4. Guiding Memory [導きだされた記憶]
Comments: For those who watched the series, this song should be extremely familiar. The very beginning of the song is actually quite ominous in a bad way, as it doesn’t reflect the whole principle of a guiding memory. As the song progresses, it becomes more eerie. However, the message of a mysterious “guide” is brought about with a singer’s soft voice. It’s a short song, clocking in at 1:18.
Score: 6.5/10
5. Busy Time [慌ただしい時間]
Comments: This is yet another variation of the first track with a tempo that is slightly faster, more urgent, and donning a different set of instruments. As you near the middle of the track, the idea of “busy” really comes across. Though it is just a rehash of the first track, it truly is worthy of its title.
Score: 8.5/10
6. Imperial Military Academy [帝国陸軍士官学校]
Comments: The beginning of this song is somewhat too happy, especially since we’re dealing with the Imperial Military Academy. The song proves to continue on this upbeat and “happy” feeling throughout the song, with a strong solo voice from the violin. In all honesty, this song would have better fitted the Church (had it had an academy) as opposed to the Imperial Military. The academy is anything but a happy place, that’s for sure. However, despite a strange title unfitting of its atmosphere, the idea of an upbeat academy is brought through very nicely. It does, humorously enough, have a sort of “Arabian” feel to it!
Score: 8/10
7. Warm Heart [温かい心]
Comments: For a “Warm Heart”, the beginning of the song doesn’t feel so inviting. Using a harpsichord, this is a variation of track six “Imperial Military Academy”. It’s a lot slower and more mysterious. I don’t think the title was fitting for the song, but the song itself isn’t too bad.
Score: 6.5/10
8. Soul Killer ~Zehel [斬魂~ゼヘル]
Comments: One word to describe this song! And I’m serious about this. It is absolutely incredible how much this song fits Zehel, aka Frau. You can just picture him coming down with his scythe and that trademark smile of his as he says “May the Grace of God Be With You”. You’ll catch my drift when you give this song a listen.
Score: 10/10
9. Soul Killer ~ Zehel 2 [斬魂~ゼヘル2]
Comments: This is a direct replay of track eight, but is more relaxing in the fact that it uses a harpsichord and doesn’t have the low bass as its predecessor. It allows the violin to ring out more and echo in a bone chilling fashion. It still retains its dramatic melody even without the lower bass.
Score: 10/10
10. Soul Keeper ~ Profe [預魂~プロフェ]
Comments: Being a direct contrast from the Soul Killer known as Zehel, we’re presented with the Soul Keeper, Profe. I’ll say one thing: I never expected a Soul Keeper to have this kind of song. The beginning of quite, and I seriously mean quite, ugly. It isn’t until after the initial 40 or so seconds that it eases up and becomes calming. However, I wouldn’t put this song on endless loop. It just isn’t worthy for it. Profe completely and utterly deserved a much better song.
Score: 7/10
11. Soul Keeper ~ Profe 2 [預魂~プロフェ2]
Comments: Just like Soul Killer had a second version, Soul Keeper also received a second version. It sounds almost no different from the original. This track might as well have been removed since it is, more or less, identical. This time, however, the piano gets emphasis just a bit.
Score: 7/10
12. Soul Binder ~ Fest – Spinning Fate [繋魂~フェスト・紡がれる運命]
Comments: If you listened to a few of the more noble songs done by Nakagawa from the Code Geass original soundtracks, you’ll notice a small resemblance in this track. This song was indeed perfect for a Soul Binder as it is calm, but also noble and embracing. The harpsichord and trumpet (I believe) are truly magical and the combination of a solo done by the violin is utterly astounding.
Score: 9.5/10
13. Barsburg Empire [バルスブルグ帝国]
Comments: At the mention of Barsburg, the first image I get is Ayanami and complete and utter evil. And was that brought to life by the song? You better believe it. The voices and choice of instruments clashing against each other in supposed disarray actually has order to it and together they bring out the majestic evils of the Barsburg Empire. Nakagawa, give yourself a pat on the back. (P.S. You can notice some beat references to Code Geass yet again in this track.)
Score: 8/10
14. Empire’s Menace [帝国の脅威]
Comments: When I looked at the title of the song, the first scenario that came to mind was Teito against Ayanami. Rightfully so, this song is definitely what you’d find being played in a battle against two opposing forces. It is both majestic and beautiful, with just the right amount of evil and good to signify white and black of the menace of the empire. The end is especially dramatic.
Score: 9/10
15. Everyday Wrapped in Light [光に包まれし日常]
Comments: I expected a warm and “light” feeling from this song and, in a way, I did get it. It could have been better if not for that xylophone’s endless pattern. Now that really got to me. But nevertheless, the aura of happiness is there. I think it was placed at an ironic position in the first disc as it almost ironically expresses the warmth after a hard fought battle.
Score: 6/10
16. Sisters’ Guidance [シスターのお導き]
Comments: Was it really necessary to use the word “guidance” in this song title? This track could actually have been a second version of track five, Busy Time. The way this song is played out almost seems as if the Sisters are actually really clumsy (well, that they were now that I think about it …), but upbeat. Title aside, this song is actually quite funny and relaxing.
Score: 7/10
17. HO-BURUGU (Hohburg) Fort [ホーブルグ要塞] (Or, Hochburg Fort: thanks Hamu-Sumo [May 13 2010])
Comments: Ayanami is striking this time, and I really mean it. If you reference this back into the series, you’ll notice this theme does play during Ayanami’s appearance. Does that mean this evil, menacing, song of pure darkness and aptitude and utter beauty could perhaps be Ayanami’s theme song? Who knows, but whatever Nakagawa was doing when he was writing this song was pure magic. This song is strong and a wonderful contrast to tracks fifteen and sixteen.
Score: 10/10
18. The Next Move [次なる一手]
Comments: Alright so this song is just a tad bit freaky. I take that back. It’s very freaky. I can’t really imagine listening to this if I was playing Chess and trying to figure out my next move. I’d be more petrified than anything else. Perhaps what Nakagawa meant by “Next Move” was when someone is petrified and unable to think of what to do for the next move? Perhaps, perhaps.
Score: 5/10
19. End the Fight Violently [熾烈を極める闘い]
Comments: Let’s end this fight violently. Seriously. Perfect title for the perfect blend of instruments to make a violent torrent of music that blows you out of your seat. Enough said.
Score: 10/10
20. Power of Darkness Becomes Powerful [強大なる闇の力]
Comments: Why didn’t he just call it “Darkness Becomes Powerful”? That aside, this song has that typical evil-last-boss feel to it. It doesn’t necessarily make it seem like the Darkness is becoming more powerful though. It just portrays evil. That’s the only vibe I get from it. Complete, utter, evil – in a bad way.
Score: 5/10
21. Barsburg Church [バルスブルグ教会]
Comments: This song sounds just a tad bit like a typical song at a wedding when the bride walks in. And in that sentence, I’m confident to say that I’m serious about that. However, it does fit in the profile of a grandiose church. It’s quite fitting for the Barsburg Church.
Score: 8/10
22. A Song of Blessing [祝福の歌声]
Comments: This is a voice-only ensemble version of track twenty-one. I can’t say much else about it since it’s just another version of the previous track.
Score: 7/10
23. Requiem of the Beloved Sacrifices [愛する者に捧げる鎮魂歌]
Comments: First thing I thought of when I saw the title was Mikage. But then as I listened to it, I felt like it was more for the Raggs Kingdom. It has that desolate and sad feeling when you walk through a deserted kingdom that has been brought down to its knees and struck down. It was like dragging your feet across this silent, dead land and feeling tears fall down your cheeks are you realized that all that was dear to you was now gone, killed by the enemies you knew naught the faces of. You only knew that everything and everyone you once knew was gone and now you have become lost. This song also has a slight feel of “Devil May Cry” in it, for those who have played the DMC series. I also have to say this was a good song to end Disc One with.
Score: 10/10
–~> General Overview of 『Disc One』
Disc one was a great way to start it off for this long and glorious trip known as the Melody of Michael. The first track and the last track in Disc One truly resonate with each other and exemplifies the necessity to listen to the next disc. And to the next we shall go.
Overall Score: 188/230 | 81.7% | B+
Standalone Score: 9/10
——————-~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~——————-
『Disc Two』
24. Unreachable Thoughts ~ Despair [届かぬ想い~絶望]
Comments: Instant Ayanami senses were tingling with this song and rightfully so. This is what you’d expect of an “Ayanami-esque” scene with Hyuuga trailing behind him with that evil smile on his face. However, I didn’t really feel the aspect of “Thoughts” reflected in the song. This is a stark contrast to the first track in disc one and can only spell out a different twist at the very end of the disc.
Score: 7/10
25. The 7th District ~ God’s Domain [第7区~神の区域]
Comments: This song was played many a times in the series and you just can’t get sick of it. With just the right swaying tempo and a grand feel to it, this is fitting to be God’s Domain without a doubt. It also bears the typical church-like musical feeling as you would find in RPG games. Quite the accomplishment right there.
Score: 10/10
26. The Night at Church Wears On [教会の夜は更けて]
Comments: This would definitely fit as a continuation of track sixteen in Disc One, “Sisters’ Guidance”. It has that clumsy beat to it. Near the thirty-five second mark, it has a soft variation of “God’s Domain” in the song, which connects very nicely as the night carries on.
Score: 8.5/10
27. Darkness Draws Near [忍び寄る闇]
Comments: I just learned Shinobi has another meaning other than the typical “Ninja”. That aside, Nakagawa brought a wonderful song into our hands that actually interprets the title perfectly. You can feel the darkness creeping closer and closer. The suspense is there, ready to grab you and maniacally laugh in your face.
Score: 7/10
28. Noel Mermaid ~ Razette [ノエルの人魚~ラゼット]
Comments: A Razette, you and your singing-only voice. This song really brings out the feel that you’re in the water, swimming freely and joyfully alongside a mermaid who is willing to sing you a song of great beauty and intrigue.
Score: 10/10
29. Legend ~ Seven Ghost [伝説~セブンゴースト]
Comments: This is a song that many will recognize right at the first beat. You can immediately imagine the legend of the Seven Ghosts being weaved into your mind and telling you of the great power and legacy of these legendary ghosts.
Score: 10/10
30. Counterattack Signal [反撃の狼煙]
Comments: Prepare to strike for someone is coming after you Teito, mwauahahhahaha! (Alright, so I got a little sidetracked there.) This is truly fitting of a counterattack. It feels as if the side of good is preparing to attack back after being hit down by the side of darkness. If I remember, this song was played in the final episode of the 07-Ghost anime (correct me if I’m wrong) and it is a very beautifully thought out song that even has an electric guitar small solo thrown in!
Score: 10/10
31. Counterattack Signal (chorus cut version) [反撃の狼煙(chorus cut ver.)]
Comments: This is the second version of track thirty and it is the exact same song minus the chorus. I’ve got to say, both have their own beauty as without the chorus it is a very different song that brings out the electric guitar solo.
Score: 10/10
32. Power of Darkness Released [放たれた闇の力]
Comments: Here comes Ayanami! He’s ready to eat you alive! (Cough.) Anyway, being “released” wasn’t exactly the right word here, but at the same time I can’t grasp another word that would work. Other than that, the darkness truly has come. Fear it.
Score: 8/10
33. Eye of Michael ~ Awakening [ミカエルの瞳~覚醒]
Comments: Now that I think about it, tracks thirty-two and thirty-three should have been switched. The names at least. This song sounds like the Power of Darkness being Released, while thirty-two sounds like the Eye of Michael coming to life. Who knows, perhaps it’s just me. I do have to say this song was done very well though!
Score: 9/10
34. Escape [脱出]
Comments: Short title! That aside, Nakagawa did good in making a song that sounded like escaping. It has a small “Star Wars” feel in the very beginning, but it does a great job in giving you the “escaping” feeling.
Score: 8.5/10
35. Spirit that Sinks Deep into Darkness [闇に溺れた魂]
Comments: Kids, you may want to stay home because Ayanami is walking through the deserted streets looking for tiny children to eat. This song is scary on so many levels, but really reflects evil and power sinking deeper into the world and releasing chaos.
Score: 9/10
36. God Grants a Kind Power [神が与えし類まれなる力]
Comments: A kind power? More like celestial power. If this is the epitome of God granting some sort power, then Nakagawa got the right beat. This song is beautiful in its own angelic way. You notice some Code Geass song reference right in the middle (cue the Air Surfing song in the first season’s second original soundtrack, if I remember right).
Score: 9.5/10
37. God Grants a Kind Power 2 [神が与えし類まれなる力2]
Comments: And the power if being granted yet again in version two of the song. This version is without the chorus and feels much more urgent. I’d recommend ditching this version and listening to the first instead.
Score: 5.5/10
38. Familiar ~ Kor [使い魔~コール]
Comments: The Kor have come! Run for your life! This song isn’t only evil and showcases the meaning of Kor, but it’s also a typical song in a horror movie/game as the killer creeps closer and closer toward you.
Score: 8.5/10
39. Ayanami – Verloren [アヤナミ~フェアローレン]
Comments: What’s this? For those who haven’t read the manga and decided to only watch the anime, this is a half spoiler for them! Nakagawa, why? Ignoring that remark, this song does sound spoiler-like and sounds just like Ayanami and what we’d typically think of Verloren and his evil.
Score: 7.5/10
40. Commence Operation [作戦開始]
Comments: For an operation, this is pretty scary. I think this song needs a reality check. It’d be more fitting for a seeking mission when you’re infiltrating a high security building.
Score: 6/10
41. Tension [緊迫]
Comments: One sentence to explain it all: Nakagawa said tension and he brought tension. Enough said.
Score: 8/10
42. Heartless Decision [非情なる決断]
Comments: The very first few notes of the song made me anticipate a much better song. However my hopes were destroyed as a more scary tone was what continued the song. Sure this is a heartless decision, but it isn’t supposed to be a scary decision.
Score: 6/10
43. Crisis Draws Near [傍に迫る危機]
Comments: This song as Ayanami and his entourage written all over it. Period.
Score: 7/10
44. Anxiety [不安]
Comments: Anxiety was the perfect word for this song. It’s perfect in reflecting the title, but it isn’t a comfortable song to be listening to all day.
Score: 6/10
45. Powerful Imprisoning Darkness ~ Wars [強大な闇徒~ヴァルス]
Comments: The Wars are coming! The Wars are coming! Run! That’s the kind of feeling I get from this song immediately. It’s the perfect blend of evil and darkness! Though, I don’t think I’d listen to this a lot.
Score: 7/10
46. Be Pure My Child, And Sleep [無垢なる我子よ光と眠れ]
Comments: One of the many songs a lot of people were looking forward to is here! It is essentially a soothing, calm, piano, version of the ending son Hitomi no Kotae. This was played a couple of times, usually after a death of someone important (cue Bishop Bastien who took care of Frau. Aww!)
Score: 10/10
47. Flow of Calm Times [穏やかな時の流れで]
Comments: Ouch. Calm times and flow didn’t come out in this song. The choice of a harpsichord wasn’t the best choice to be coupled with that high pitched instrument in the beginning. If Nakagawa took all that out and only had the main variation of Hitomi no Kotae playing, I think it would have been perfect for the flow of that calmness. However, it was ruined and turned into something quite bad. Sorry Nakagawa, but you got the equation all wrong here.
Score: 3/10
48. Soul’s Path [魂の進む道]
Comments: This is another variation of Hitomi no Kotae, but with a majestic and courageous feel. The use of drums is brought to life in this magical journey and leaves the memorable theme ringing in your ears.
Score: 10/10
49. Tree’s Filtered Sunlight [木漏れ日]
Comments: Yet another version of Hitomi no Kotae, it is piano and half instrumental. This song reflects the soft flickering of sunlight as it comes through rustling leaves and trees. It is simply beautiful and grasps the heart in a fantastic melody.
Score: 10/10
50. Fate’s Choice [運命の選択]
Comments: This song is spot on for being the opposite of track one of Disc Two. This song compliments the first and last track of Disc One and brings a new meaning to one’s destiny and fate as it is chosen. This is a majestic and dramatic version of Hitomi no Kotae. It does seem to borrow elements from a certain song from the Kingdom Hearts series. See if you can notice it.
Score: 10/10
–~> General Overview of 『Disc Two』
Disc Two continued to wow as Disc One did. This disc had many versions of Hitomi no Kotae in many a beautiful arrangements and had its amount of good highlights and downsides. It will be up to Disc Three to truly wrap everything up.
Overall Score: 221/270 | 81.8% | B+
Standalone Score: 8.5/10
——————-~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~——————-
『Disc Three』
51. Aka no Kakera (TV Size) // Artist: Suzuki Yuki [緋色のカケラ(TVサイズ) アーティスト:鈴希ゆき]
Comments: If you don’t recognize this theme and you watched the anime, there’s something completely wrong! This is the opening song to the series and no matter how many times I listen to this; I just can’t get sick of it. When I first anticipated the series when it was in production and finally began to air, I was hoping for something powerful and worthy of the 07-Ghost title, and this was the result. And guess what? This was perfect.
Score: 10/10
52. Snow of my Home [故郷の雪]
Comments: The soft chimes gave the feeling of drifting snow and it was very soothing. This song would reflect the times when Teito’s memories resurfaced and would be part of the tale of the Raggs Kingdom.
Score: 10/10
53. Light that Guides Forward [光が進む道しるべ]
Comments: This song was most prominent in the final episode of the anime as Frau and Teito took off on that hawkzile and left the church behind. Light that Guides Forward was definitely the perfect title was such a wonderful song and it resonates beautifully with one’s heart.
Score: 10/10
54. Power of Darkness Crawls [蠢く闇の力]
Comments: This song should not have been right in this position smack dab after a beautiful song such as track fifty-three. It totally breaks the halcyon feeling. But that aside, crawling wouldn’t be the right word to describe this song. It should have been slithering because this songs feels just like a snake slithering toward you. And guess what? You’re the mouse. You are its prey. Now get scurrying!
Score: 7/10
55. Hymn A [賛美歌A]
Comments: Nice original title, Nakagawa. All joking aside, this song is beautiful even without the scene playing in front of you. Why? Because you can imagine the church scenes as you listen to this wonderful arrangement of voices. Beat that!
Score: 10/10
56. Time that Floods [光あふれる時間]
Comments: Simply a beautiful song. Though, it wouldn’t have hurt if Nakagawa called it “Time that Flows”, instead of Floods. But what can I say. It’s a wonderful song nevertheless!
Score: 8/10
57. Lamb that Falls from the Sky [天より舞い降りし子羊さん]
Comments: I kind of picture Teito falling from the sky when I see the title. However, when you listen to the song it’s anything but a vision of Teito falling. It’s more of Teito exploring and cleaning the church. This song has so many things wrong with it, it isn’t funny. What happened to the Nakagawa magic?
Score: 4/10
58. Dark Clouds [暗雲]
Comments: You can see those grey clouds moving in; ready to cry unto you all its sorrows and woes. But be careful. Those tears may actually be acidic. At least, that’s the feeling I get from this song. It’s menacing in its own little way, too.
Score: 8/10
59. Eye Catch A [アイキャッチA]
Comments: There isn’t much that I can say about this track. I don’t think you’d listen to it on endless loop since it’s only 8 (yes eight) seconds long. By itself, though, it’s kind of scary.
Score: 6/10
60. Eye Catch B [アイキャッチB]
Comments: Exact same comments as above. That even includes the scary!
Score: 6/10
61. Chance Meeting [邂逅]
Comments: “Frau! Meeting you here! It was all chance!” Teito said. “Whatever, brat,” Frau replied with a smile. Can’t you just imagine a scene like that? I can when I listen to this song. Chance Meeting is a brilliant song that leaves a lasting impact. It also sort of gives a feeling that you haven’t seen someone for so long and suddenly you meet them.
Score: 9.5/10
62. Inside my Dear Daily Memories [愛しき日々の記憶の中で]
Comments: Can you imagine Teito trying to ask “Why are you taking care of me?” and suddenly a certain bishop coming in and ruffling his hair telling him it’s alright? This is what races through my mind as I listen to this soft and beautiful song.
Score: 10/10
63. Raggs Requiem (album edit) // Artist: Noria [ラグスの鎮魂歌(album edit) アーティスト:Noria]
Comments: I remember when I first heard this song. It caught my attention and forever since then held that attention forevermore. The lyrics in this song are very deep and is every bit worthy of being a Requiem to a kingdom left in ruins.
Score: 10/10
64. Hymn B [賛美歌B]
Comments: This is the second hymn. This is the equivalent of Hymn A in both beauty and angelic feeling.
Score: 10/10
65. The 7th District’s Specialty [第7区の特産品]
Comments: Think festival. Think Church. Put it together and you get that day of fun where Mikage and Teito go about at the festival! Fun fun fun! Do you remember the food that Frau gave? Oh good times! Good times!
Score: 8/10
66. Unsettling Wind of the World’s Destruction [世界を壊す不穏な風]
Comments: This song is quite frightening. Don’t listen to it at night. I mean it in all seriousness. Title is perfect, song is slightly under perfect, but even during the day it’s kind of scary. Beware.
Score: 7/10
67. Lost Lamb [迷える子羊さん]
Comments: With all great composers and all great songs, there will always be a song that just turns you away so much you can’t help but give it a low mark and a terrible opinion. Lost Lamb earned the Nakagawa Kotaro You Screwed Up Big Time award. Congratulations.
Score: 1/10
68. Premonition [予感]
Comments: Title makes me think Labrador. But is it? Let’s listen. In all honesty, that was just completely and utterly odd. It was just voices for eleven cruel seconds. Nakagawa Kotaro You Screwed Up Almost Big Time award just got given to this song. Ouch.
Score: 2/10
69. Hitomi no Kotae ~the past version~ (TV Size) // Artist: Noria [瞳のこたえ ~The past ver.~(TVサイズ) アーティスト:Noria]
Comments: Noria and Hitomi no Kotae have come to bless us yet again! This is the special version that was played as the ending song. As always, Noria’s songs are just so beautiful!
Score: 10/10
70. Informing Flower ~ Number 1 [教えてお花さん~その1]
Comments: The one thing that I feel is essential to all anime shows is the preview. If the song during the preview isn’t good, the preview turns sour. And I’ve got to say, Nakagawa – you rocked it! I love this preview song! Note that it is a tiny variation of Aka no Kakera.
Score: 10/10
71. Informing Flower ~ Number 2 [教えてお花さん~その2]
Comments: This is another version of the preview song. At the very end, however, it ends in a very different way.
Score: 10/10
72. Informing Flower ~ Number 3 [教えてお花さん~その3]
Comments: Third and final version, this is a much (not really) longer version with a whole different set of instruments. It is strong and loud, letting loose a very majestic feel even though it is so short.
Score: 10/10
73. Bonus Track Mini Drama Escape [BonusTrackミニドラマ『脱出』]
Comments: This was a bonus track in the form of a mini drama. Titled “Escape”, it is – according to the Narrator (Teito Klein [Mitsuki Saiga) – set in a world that is essentially a parody of the actual 07-Ghost universe that begins from the end of the final episode of the anime. It’s funny in its own way, but since it isn’t actually a “song”, I can’t give it any rating.
74. Hitomi no Kotae ~the future version~ (TV Size) // Artist: Noria [瞳のこたえ ~The future ver.~(TVサイズ) アーティスト:Noria]
Comments: And this ends the anime series for 07-Ghost. This song is the final farewell at the end of the episode and gives 07-Ghost fans a hope in that illuminated sky that maybe, just maybe, they will decide to pursue further and make a second season. Cheers!
Score: 10/10
–~> General Overview of 『Disc Three』
Disc Three certain tied all loose ends to this story and was quite impressive. Nakagawa started with a bang and ended with an even bigger bang!
Overall Score: 186.5/230 | 81.0% | B+
Standalone Score: 10/10

–~> General Overview of 『All Three Discs』
Overall, from a perspective of the original soundtrack as a whole, Nakagawa Kotaro truly brought out the greatness in his work and created a masterpiece that had – at some points – too many versions of the same song. The one song that had many variations that deserved it in all its entirety was Hitomi no Kotae. However, had those “odd” tracks that digressed from the beauty of the rest of the soundtrack been removed, this huge 3-CD, 74-Track original soundtrack would have been one of the best soundtracks of 2009. And to this comment I am not even kidding.
